The rumor that had been going on for days came true. Barcelona have reached an agreement to sell Brazilian midfielder Arthur Mello to Juventus. Midfielder Miralem Pianic is coming to Camp Nou from Juventus as a condition of the contract.

Barcelona said in a statement on Monday that they had sold Arthur to Juventus for 72 million euros. According to the agreement, the figure could increase to another one crore euros.

In another statement, Barcelona said they had reached an agreement with Juventus to acquire Pianic. The cost of getting the 30-year-old Bosnian midfielder is 6.5 million euros.

Pianic will sign a four-season deal with Barcelona after playing for Juventus this season. His buy-out clause will be kept at 400 million euros.

Arthur joined Barcelona from Gremio in 2016. The 23-year-old midfielder has played 62 matches for Catalonia so far.

Arthur traveled to Turin to finalize the squad after a 2-2 draw against Celta Vigo in La Liga on Saturday. After getting medical treatment there, he changed his job.

Arthur will stay in Barcelona until the end of this season. He will wear the Juventus jersey next season. The young midfielder, who played with Lionel Messi, will get another best footballer of the time, Cristiano Ronaldo, as a teammate at the new address.
